Home for Christmas

These are exactly my favourite kind of cards, simple design with neutral colours, and a splash of something bright to provide a little ooomph.  There were a lot of trees cut and coloured, 3 little cars, 6 little houses, 3 tiny wreaths, and some snowy backgrounds.  Minimal supplies required for these cards, so it's a great one for card making beginners.

I can see me using this set a lot more, and in fact I've already made some tiny decorations for my Christmas tree.  These measure just one inch across and are xtremely cute.

Perfect Poinsettias

These papers are just absolutely gorgeous.  Subtle shades of blue and lilac, some with snowflakes, some look like handmade papers.  And then there's the flocked vellum - oh my goodness it is just beautiful when layered on top of soft blue.

Three very different cards - one long one, for a change, with heat embossed flowers.  The second one is a cute flowerpot, with a card that slides out, and flowers cut from shimmer paper. The third one is a fabulous easel card - a decoration all on its own.

These poinsettia stamps and dies are so detailed.  Use traditional colours, or go out on a limb with something completely different.

Christmas Sampler

For this year's sampler I went with traditional colours and a kind of foodie theme.  I got the idea from another clever Stampin' Up! demonstrator, but changed it around a bit to suit what stamps and dies I had.  9 lovely ladies joined me for the day to make one of these, we had a very delicious shared lunch, and lots of fun.  I don't think many of these will be getting given away - I'm definitely hanging onto mine, I love it.  There are too many products to list, so just spend a few minutes looking at all the little details 💖
